I love the vulnerability in this poem, the descriptive words creating images in my mind, what others give to us, that is so precious and a privilege, to have their dreams shared with us, and to honour them on their journey as they walk with us on ours. The poem is called The Cloths of Heaven by WB Yeats - Had I the heavens embroidered cloths, enwrought with golden and silver and light. The blue, and the dim and the dark cloths, of night and light, and the half light. I would spread the cloths under your feet; But I being poor have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet, tread softly for you tread on my dreams.
