Rommi is a Vaginal Steam Therapist, Council and Circle Facilitator, Birth and Postpartum Doula, Artist, Community Builder and Shamanic Healer. Her passions include growing alongside her 4 unschooled kiddos ages 9, 15, 20 and 21, kitchen witchery, cooking, herbs, gardening, permaculture, plant wisdom, essential oils, fiber arts, writing, reading, storytelling, music, singing, sound healing, ceremony and Kambo.

She enjoys honoring the cycles of the moon and our bodies, celebrating the wheel of the year, co-creating community, supporting families and spending time discovering, learning and laughing alongside her kiddos. “I’ve always been a firm believer that “it takes a village…”

As a child, Rommi’s mother fostered in her a deep connection and respect for the divine, nature, art, music, community, healthy whole foods and holistic healing modalities. These gifts supported her through her own journey of motherhood. She discovered many women felt overwhelmed, isolated and alone. They shared Rommi’s thirst for connection, support and honoring of their cycles, pregnancy, birth, motherhood, menopause and even death and divorce.

Rommi began gathering women drawn to attachment parenting and supported them with my experience and knowledge of both hospital and home birth, breastfeeding, tandem nursing, baby wearing, cloth diapering, elimination communication and natural living. From this experience evolved offerings of women’s circles, blessing ways and coming of age ceremonies. Her connection with her children and community led her to homeschooling.

Circle has given Rommi an opportunity to express herself and connect with her innate wisdom, sisters and community. Her life work is creating safe space for women to experience deep rest in the arms of the mother, tap into their hearts, voices, cycles, rhythms and natural abilities to heal, love, nurture, listen, trust, share vulnerably, support, create, inspire, grow and lead as sovereign beings.
